What started as a beautiful day for Buddy, who was enjoying the neighborhood front porch while minding her own business, turned into a shocking incident!
What happened next not only left her traumatized both mentally and physically but shook the conscience of the entire close-knit community!
In the video below, we can see two men walking to the front porch of the home when they spotted Buddy!
One would have normally immediately fallen in love with this gooey-eyed beauty. But these two men unleashed their pit bulls on her. Caught unaware and flabbergasted, Buddy fought bravely for her life but was outnumbered two to one.

It seemed like a hopeless situation! Until the Pennsylvania SPCA swooped in and put her under immediate medical attention.
She suffered multiple life-threatening injuries, and for a while, we all felt that we had lost Buddy for good!
Shock waves spread through the community as people got to know about this incident. People gathered around the SPCA headquarters to support them in their journey of nursing Buddy back to health.
Those who couldn’t be there in person started praying for her speedy recovery. The love she got from all around and the waves of positivity it generated turned the tables on death, and Buddy survived this ordeal!
Wait! There is even more good news! On her road to recovery, Buddy was adopted by veterinarian Dr. Katie Venanzi and her husband. Not only did she find her Fur-ever home, but she also found joyful companionship in her feline faster sibling-Teddy!
This video and the aftermath of this gruesome incident happened back in 2022. Today, Buddy is hale and hearty and brimming with feline energy. She and Teddy are thick and thieves. They have become inseparable and have made a loving home for themselves with their hoo-man foster parents!
But when Teddy is not around, Buddy loves to laze around on the windowsill watching the sun or just hanging out on the front screen door.
