I'm pretty sure we have a Shiloh Shepherd. She is 76 lbs, long hair, long nose, big pointed ears. Her tail touches the ground and is gloriously full. I would describe her as "lazy" or lower energy, and she always was. My vote goes to the beautiful Shiloh Shepherd!

I rescued a 4 year old sheppard who's name was Money, yes it seems that is what have been so important to the previous owners. I changed it to Monty. Some days Montavious the Braviest. I don't think this dog had known what is was like to be valued and loved. He has his own couch but looked at me like I'm not supposed to be up here. No I've fallen asleep on the floor, it's hard and you wake up sore, and when I lifted his hanging over the edge legs and feet and slide the ottoman under them he gave me a look of astonishment, but if I sleep with mine hanging over they I wake up and they are numb. Monty went from charging any and all who entered the house, and nipping them if they flinched to taking his ball up to complete strangers in the park so they can throw it for him. It's been quite a transformation, and I'm grateful he was able to experience what it's like to be a member of a family and he knows he is loved.
Monty's problem is caused by the previous owners idea of exercise was having Monty run and jump to catch the ball, on the street. All the landing and pounding has caused him to experience pain and discomfort, especially in his eighth year. It would be nice if we could instill some common sense in people. when you're out with your dog and you get thirsty, they're thirsty to, the floor is hard, concrete shouldn't be jumped on. Just give a damn cause we agreed to take care of our pets and they deserve that and much more.
